If you thought it was only the Hallmark Channel that was getting into the holiday spirit a bit early with its Christmas movies, you are wrong. Netflix too is getting into the holiday mood before we wind up our Halloween parties this year with its new original movie about a disgruntled photographer in The Holiday Calendar movie.

The Holiday Calendar Movie Plot
The Holiday Calendar movie follows Abby Sutton as she tries to get into the spirit of holidays, but cannot. A professional photographer, Abby is trying hard to achieve professional success and feels stuck in a boring job with no joy. Nothing seems to work for her and her personal life is as bad as her professional.
However, all that seems to change with an exciting new gift. Her grandfather gives Abby an antique Advent Calendar. As Abby flips through the pages, magical events begin to happen in her life. Her life seems to mimic the page she opens and the events in the calendar pages come alive in her life.
She not only gets a coveted photo assignment, but also bumps into a handsome young man. Can these magical events turn into reality, or is it just the perspective that has changed Abby.
