The Perfect Mother Lifetime movie follows a mother-daughter video blogger duo who have become a kind of celebrity. Their video channel commands a huge following who love the content they put out and highlight their stron and loving bond.
But no matter how strong the bond, teenagers will be teenagers. Stella and Shay soon have a falling out and the whole thing is out there for the world to see. The episode catches the eye of Peyton. A teenage fan of their channel who believes Stella deserves more than Shay is giving her. The lack of connection with her mother in her life drives Peyton to get what Stella and Shay have. She sees an opportunity in their tiff and is determined to have Stella for herself.
