Martha’s Vineyard Mysteries is back on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries with Poisoned in Paradise movie this May. The movie picks up Jeff and Zee’s story from the Ships in the Night and we are eager to see if the chemistry that brought them closer in Boston in the last movie has still some juice.
What is Hallmark Movie Poisoned in Paradise About?
Poisoned in Paradise movie is the fourth in A Martha’s Vineyard Mysteries series and sees Jeff and Zee solve a crime that they think could have been stopped.
Jeff’s become a go to source in the town to solve mysteries unofficially. So when Katie, a young waitress, finds herself threatened and confused, she approaches Jeff with her problems. She tells she is in a fix with the wrong crown and feels her life threatened. But Jeff asks her to go to the police as it would be the right thing to do and they would protect her.
But Katie is too scared and ultimately turns up dead. Jeff can’t stop thinking its his fault and decides to investigate who was making Katie uncomfortable, with Zee by his side. As the two begin to dig, a dangerous plot unravels that could have lead to Katie’s murder.
At the same time, the mystery back in Boston becomes murkier as Jeff and Andy seem to be getting close to catch the perp who shot Jeff. But they are halted in their tracks when an FBI agent steps in and shuts them out.
What is the Cast of Poisoned in Paradise HMM movie?
Jesse Metcalfe plays Jeff along with Sarah Lind as Zee. Eric Keenleyside, Chelsea Hobbs, Sunita Prasad also star. The movie is based on the book of the same name by Philip R. Craig.
