Gypsy TV Show Plot
Netflix’s new Gypsy TV show centers around therapist Jean Holloway. Living and practicing in Manhattan, Jean is married to Michael Holloway, an attorney, and are in a stable, happy relationship. But there are problems too. Jean has had a troubled relationship with her mother, and now their daughter is beginning to show signs that she prefers to be identified as a boy.
With all this drama in the background, Jean begins to develop illicit relationships with people in her patients’ lives. Her fantasies take hold of her and the boundaries between her fantasies and real life begin to blur. Her desire for more than a simple, safe life takes her on a path that threatens to destroy everything that she has.
