Finding Joy Series Plot
Finding Joy follows Joy as a sudden turn of events turns her personal and professional life upside down. A back office grammarian at a News organization, Joy has a very orderly and behind-the-scenes life- one that she prefers.
Her troubles begin when her long-time boyfriend breaks up with her and her Vlogger friend who hosts a popular lifestyle show on the network falls sick around the same time. In a twist of fate, Joy, the most unlikely person, is called upon by the network executives to replace her friend on the show.
Caught in the limelight and totally uncomfortable, Joy’s very real struggles and antics quickly become the talk of the town and the show’s popularity skyrockets. But she is spurred on to agree to it because she has just seen a social media post of her ex Aidan with some hot new girl. And maybe this new venture can prove to Aidan that she is not the rigid and controlling person he suspects her of being. And, with any luck, she may even be able to prove that to herself.
