In Legends of the Lost series, Megan Fox brings a fresh take on learning about some of the biggest myths and stories left behind by our ancestors. Talking with experts and archaeologists, and fishing through priceless texts and fascinating artifacts, Fox tries to uncover facts about the age-old mysteries that still confuse scientists and archaeologists to this day.

Questions like What was Stonehenge’s real purpose? Was the Trojan War real? Were some of the fierce Viking warriors actually women? Who were the first human settlers to arrive on the shores of what is now North America? are explored in each of the episodes.

Episode 1 – Vikings

Megan Fox journeys to Scandinavia and England to investigate a bold new hypothesis that powerful women warriors played a role in helping the Vikings become the most feared army of the time.

From the earliest recorded invasions in 790 AD through the Norman Conquest of England in 1066, the Vikings raided and pillaged from Scandinavia to England and Russia, as far east as Newfoundland and to the shores of North Africa. For centuries, it was widely believed that Viking men led the charge.  But new archaeological findings are questioning these long held beliefs.

Episode 2 – Stonehenge: The Healing Stones

We travel to the United Kingdom to explore one of the greatest mysterious archaeological sites in the world – Stonehenge. Fox investigates why our ancestors built this enigmatic structure and explores if the stones possess supernatural powers.

Episode 3 – America’s Lost Civilization

For nearly a century, scientists have said that humans came to what is today the United States of America toward the end of the last Ice Age. But latest archaeological data along the Savannah River in the southeastern United States show that a big migration could have happened arounds 48,000 BC.

Some believe these first settlers were gigantic prehistoric versions of homo sapiens. Megan Fox seeks to uncover who, or what, these early settlers really were.

Episode 4 – The Trojan War: Myth or Truth?

We travel to Turkey to try to find an answer to the longstanding question: Did the infamous Trojan War actually take place? Using one of the biggest Greek legends, Homer’s Iliad, as her treasure map, Fox examines high-tech data and the new archaeological finds along the coast of current day Turkey in search of answers.
