Christmas Joy Movie Plot
Christmas Joy movie follows Joy Hobrook, a Market Researcher, working in DC. Christmas is round the corner and Joy has much to rejoice with her success and a sure shot promotion. Everything seems rosy and her hard work of years is about pay. But when she gets a call about her aunt Ruby’s accident, she rushes to her home town to take care of her aunt.
To help her aunt, Joy decides to take her place as the chair of the Cookie Crawl – a Christmas tradition where everyone makes cookies and shares with the visitors. However, she has no idea how big and intimidating this preparation can be. Moreover, there is Ben – her former crush Ben ANdrews to think of.
Joy is determined make the cookie crawl a success, but she is not ready to let Ben help her, afraid, it might be awkward. As they are brought together, sparks fly and the two fall for each other.
Back in DC at her office, Joy’s boss isn’t thrilled to hear she will be out for several days and warns her to think very carefully about career choices she makes. Joy briefly returns to DC to attend the Gala, but is distracted with thoughts of Crystal Falls (and of Ben) whom she sees makes a surprise appearance but leaves abruptly – and now won’t return her calls.
Just a day away from the Cookie Crawl, A near disaster brings Ben to her door to help, and Joy makes an important realization. With an interesting offer from Poppy Weatherton, Joy makes a life-changing decision, all the while remembering that especially during the holidays, there truly is no place like home.

Christmas Joy Movie Review
Christmas Joy was another sweet romance set in the backdrop of Christmas holidays. Joy and Ben were naturals and their chemistry kept the audiences rooting for them, so much so that ‘the kiss’ seemed to take forever. But that is what romantics like us wait to watch, I guess. The costume designs were also great and you could pick up some themes for the coming mother from this one for sure.
Christmas Joy is chock full of holiday cheer. You are going to love Crystal Falls and its quaint traditions. A little town tucked into the mountains, blanketed in snow. That’s what holidays are supposed to be about!
