All American TV Show Plot

All American TV Show follows Spencer James (Daniel Ezra), a rising high school football athelete and A student at South Crenshaw High. Compton is the place he calls home. But when Beverly High School’s football coach Billy Baker (Taye Diggs) shortlists him to come to the team in Beverly Hills, Spencer’s mom, Grace (Karimah Westbrook), and his best chum, Coop (Bre-Z), persuade Spencer it’s a chance he has to seize.

Now, Spencer must wade the two worlds — the south side neighborhood that he knows and the rich Beverly Hills world that has given him an opportunity for something grand. When Spencer is compelled to move in with Billy and his family to safeguard his transfer permission to Beverly High,  it comes with its own challenges.

Billy’s son Jordan (Michael Evans Behling), the team’s starting quarterback, is less than enthusiastic about sharing his father’s attention or the team spotlight, with Spencer. While Spencer wrestles to find his footing, he makes an unexpecte ally in Jordan’s sister, Olivia (Samantha Logan), who is fighting with her own demons.

He also develops a crush on his classmate, Layla (Greta Onieogou), something her current boyfriend, Asher (Cody Christian), quickly finds out — and sets out to drive Spencer off the football team and out of Beverly Hills for good.
