Apostle Movie Plot
Apostle movie follows Thomas Richardson as he sets out to search his missing sister. The movie is set in the 1905 and begins with the disappearance of Thomas’ sister. He begins his search for her and finds a connection with a religious cult of some kind. His search then leads him to a remote island as decides to infiltrate the community and find out the truth.
Once there, he realizes that the charismatic leader of the cult holds total power over his subjects, during a sermon. But he is also alarmed by the lengths this man is ready to go to keep his community intact.
He soon discovers the horrific secrets and the things people will do in the name of religion and higher power. Determined to find the truth and punish those responsible, Thomas soon becomes a thorn in the cult’s flesh – an enemy they will never want.
