So here is your road map to new Hindi movies releasing in October 2016. The month begins on high note with Mirzya and you have at least one Drama genre and one Comedy to choose from each week.
31st October
No that is not the date on the movie release. 31st October is scheduled to release on 7th October and focuses on survival of a family during the anti-sikh riots that gripped most of North India after the assassination of Indira Gandhi.
Mirzya
Mirzya is a tale of Mirza and Sahiban. A folk tale from the undivided Punjab and Sindh that highlights the love of Mirza and Sahiban like that of Laila and Majnu or Heer and Ranjha. This one is set in the current time Rajasthan. The movie casts Anil Kapoor’s son Harshvardhan and Saiyami Kher in the lead roles.
Anna
ANNA or Anna Hazare or Kisan Baburao Hazare is another biopic that is coming out of Bollywood studios this year. The movie showcases the early life of Anna Hazare as an Army jawan and his many agitations in Maharashtra against corruption and more.
Saat Uchakkey
Saat Uchakkey is a comedy starring Anupam Kher and Manoj Bajpayee. Set int he by lanes of Old Delhi, the movie follows multiple characters and their stories in a Peepli like format.
Ek Tera Saath
After Raaz Reboot, Ek Tera Saath is another supernatural or horror romance story. The story unfolds in what appears to be Rajasthan’s grand palaces.
Beiiman Love
Beiiman Love sees Sunny Leone in the lead role. She portrays the character of a strong, independent woman who is duped by her boyfriend. She later rebounds as a strong businesswoman in jewelry business and avenges the wrong done to her.
Ek Tha Hero
Ek Tha Hero is a children’s movie that you can watch with the entire family. Releasing on 14th October, just before Diwali, the movie tells the story of young Jignesh who makes a strong resolve to win the gift of his dreams. And when the family’s finances do not permit, he takes on the challenge to get what he wants with hard work and grit.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil
The movie is a Romace-Drama that follows the lives of two couples and their dreams and passions. How they separate for various reasons and how they must face each other again after years.
Shivaay
The Ajay Devgn starrer Shivaay is another awaited movie this October. The Action-Drama is set in Bulgaria and India and follows the life of its lead character and his fight to reunite with his family.
