Raaz Reboot is scheduled to be released in September and is the latest film in the Raaz franchise. Jeet Ganguli comes back to compose music for the fourth installment of the movie. With a couple of hits under his belt this year – Junooniyat and Rustom – music lovers can expect some more good compositions from the music director. Raaz Reboot has seven songs with Lyrics penned by Kausar Munir and Rashmi Virag. KK lends his voice to O Meri Jaan, which is composed by Sangeet, Sidhddhart Haldipur. All other songs are composed by Jeet Gannguli.

Raaz Reboot Music Review
The album starts with a long and interesting guitar intro of Lo Maan Liya sung by Arijit Singh. The song, like many other gradually increases the tempo with a fast paced violin interlude which is complemented with slow beats. However, the song struggles to maintain the good melody that marks the beginning of the song. Raaz Aankhen Teri has a beautiful Violin introduction and maintains the haunting melody of the first song of the album, but you don’t really feel like putting it on the repeat. The vocals somehow don’t blend well with the music composition.
The songs fit very well with the mood and haunting cinematography of the movie but you will need to be in a specific frame of mind to enjoy most of the compositions in the album. Guitar lovers will enjoy the Unplugged version of Yaad Hai Na sung by Jubin Nautiyal. Arijit sings the slightly fast paced version of the song equally good. The compositions are different than your run-of-the-mill soundtracks but the symphony style music fails to hold your attention and you won’t play them on your daily commute.
MovieRecipe Verdict: The music compositions are not bad, but for some reason do not make you hum the songs.
