Simpson taking the second position in the most nominated series in the 2016 Emmy Awards lineup. The 2016 Emmy Awards have begun and Julia Louis has won for Veep. 2016 Emmy Awards – Who Didn’t Make it
The current year has already thrown up some interesting series like Netflix’s The Ranch and The Night Of which promises to be an interesting drama. Most of the nominations in the Emmy Awards list for 2016 appear to be for new seasons of old series. However, it surprises me to not see the final season of The Good Wife or Billions on any of the nominations.
Although Modern Family continues to be good, another series that deserved a nomination was Jane the Virgin which is consistently interesting with enough twists and turns and awesome performances. Also missing in the nominations is one of the best series of last year is Younger. Sutton Foster’s performance in Younger and the series itself not making it to the Comedy nominations list is quite surprising.
