After super successful movie Bajirao Mastani, Sony TV will now telecast a Serial on Peshwa Bajirao I from 23rd January 2017. The Peshwa Bajirao serial is created by Nilanjana Purkayasstha and will be available in both SD and HD format to the viewers. You can also watch the serial online on Sony Liv, soon. Like Maharana Pratap, this one too looks set to win over hearts of television viewers and is another addition historical biographical serials on Indian TV.

Peshwa Bajirao serial charts the life of Bajirao I, son of Balaji Vishwanath and Radhabai, born in a Brahmin family of Satara. He grew up accompanying his father on military campaign and was later appointed as Peshwa by Chatrapati Shahu Maharaj.
