With no other regional and Bollywood major releases this week, Tamil movie audience have an easy pick with Kadamban. The action-adventure movie follows Kadamban who lives in the dense forests which are now threatened by corporate greed. Arya plays the titular role in the movie that highlights the seriousness of human invasion of Nature.

Written and Directed by Ragava, the movie is set in the picturesque jungles of Kodaikanal. The music for the movie is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and has five tracks.

Kadamban Story
Kadamban story revolves around a tribal leader (Arya) and his clan who are one with nature and live away from the urban jungle. He is a strong believer in the value of forests and protecting all animals and sees their existence as key to human existence.
When a powerful businessman decides to level the fores and start industrial activities, he not only displaces Kadamban’s people, but also threatens to endanger various species. He decides to recruit the local people and also enlist wild animals to put up a strong fight with the invaders.
The movie will appeal to fans of Baahubali with its great shots in the forests and also to the young fans of Tarzan as Kadamban presents a somewhat common story in new and interesting backdrop.
Kadamban Reviews
The movie seems to be releasing at the right moment with Summer vacations just round the corner. Action-Adventure is not a genre that Indian movies dive in a lot. And although this one seems very similar to Tarzan with its camera and stunts, it should be a fun to watch if the director gets the pace right. We will get you the audience reviews soon.
