Howard Inlet is an advertising executive in a big advertising company in New York. Loss of child has made him depressive and is withdrawing from all activities in his life. His friends have tried everything to help him get back to life, but nothing seems to work.
They are getting increasingly worries about his behavior. When starts writing letters to Love, Death, and Time, they take this in their stride and believe that it is a way to speak out inner feelings that hw might not otherwise.
But they get really worried when Howard starts talking about meeting Love and Death and having fruitful conversations with them. However, things are beginning to look up for Howard as his new friends – Love, Death, and Time – help him see meaning in all events good and bad.
