New week and a new series. After releasing The Order in the previous week, Netflix brings a new comedy which could have been a family entertainer if only it could reign in the language a bit. Idris Elba leads the cast in Turn Up Charlie series on Netflix that takes us into the world of down and out DJ who agrees to become a Manny to his friend’s daughter.

Turn Up Charlie Series Plot
Turn Up Charlie Netflix series follows Charlie as once famous DJ who is now out of job for some time and spent all his money away. Charlie now lives with his aunty and is desperate to get back into the game.
When his famous and rich old friend David, a movie star, returns to UK to fix his marriage and give more time to his troubled daughter, Charlie accepts a job to connect with his daughter Gabriel and take care of her. David’s wife Sara is also a DJ and Charlie thinks she could be the ladder he can use to climb the ladder of success once again.
But as time goes by, Charlie makes a strong bond with Gabriel. As the series develops the relationship between the two grows stronger as we see these two troubled and lonely character find something unique in each other.
