The Indian web series revolutions has given us some exciting new dramas, and comedy series. But it is mostly thrillers that the makers find hard to create. The Final Call series that releases in February 2019 on Zee5 promises to the new thriller drama with the handsome Arjun Rampal in the lead role, bent on ending his life 20,000 ft in the air with a plane full of passengers.

Vijay Lalwani writes and directs the thriller drama based on the book I WIll Go With You. The series premiered in Febriary on Zee5 with four episodes and is scheduled to release the next episodes sometime in March.

The Final Call Series Plot
The Final Call series follows Karan Sachdev, a commercial pilot who is determined to end his life in the air on a flight from Mumbai to Sydney. Traumatised by events in his last job as a fighter pilot in the Indian Air Force, Karan believes the only way to cope with his experience is ending his life. Or is it by saving the passengers on Flight 502, that he himself has jeopardized?
His plans go haywire when his co-pilot and the reserve pilot accidentally drink the poison Karan intended to drink on the flight to end his troubled existence. The dynamic situation has put in him in a position where he is now become the enemy with hundreds of life at stake.
With a fragile mental state and unpredictable situation, it is up to form Army Intelligence officer Kiran Mirza to dig in Karan’s past to understand his motivation and save the doomed passengers on board.

The Final Call Zee5 Series Review
The greatest positive about The Final Call series is refreshing story line that breaks away from the mundane Hindi serials and brings something new. The strong star cast too adds to the pull of the drama. With good production values it is easy to stick with the series, but the pace does not meet the expectation of thriller. If you are looking for a edge-of-the-seat thriller that will keep you glued to the screens, this one is not that.
The series explores various characters as we meet the passengers on the plane and get to know their back stories. Although fairly interesting, these draw the focus away from the thriller part and makes The Final Call more of a drama than a thriller.
