To Catch a Spy follows Chloe Day, a travel writer, as she gets embroiled in a murder investigation as a witness. and must find the killer before he gets to her.
Chole Day is a famous travel writer and on a trip to Malta. her assignment is to the country includes an evaluation of a renovated hotel Optima. Assisted by her photographer the team check in is the fabulous hotel looking forward to a relaxing experience.
However, late on the first night at the hotel, Chloe overhears a loud argument between two from a room. As she steps near the window, Chloe sees a body falling down from the room above her.
She becomes the only witness of the argument and a possible murder. Meanwhile, the hotel is also hosting an FBI agent Aaron Maxwell, who is investigating a different crime at the US Embassy. The two join hands to dig in further. But as danger to Chloe as the only witness becomes apparent, the two must find the killer before the killer gets to them.
