The Conners TV Show Plot
The Conners TV show follows the Conner family. After a surprising turn of events, the Conners are made to face the daily struggles of life in Lanford in a way they never have before. This iconic family – Dan, Jackie, Darlene, Becky and D.J. – struggles with parenthood, dating, an unexpected pregnancy, financial pressures, aging and in-laws in working-class America.
The family prevails through it all – the fights, the coupon cutting, the hand-me-downs, the breakdowns – with love, humor and perseverance.

Episode 1
A sudden turn of events forces the Conners to face the daily struggles of life in Lanford in a way they never have before.
Episode 2
When Geena learns that D.J. has not been taking Mary to church while she’s been away, she insists they go as a family to uphold her traditional values. To make matters worse, Mary refuses to attend without her cousins Harris and Mark, leaving D.J. in the last situation he wants to be in – at the mercy of Darlene. Meanwhile, Mark’s attempt to conduct an unbiased survey on the upcoming election for his school project goes south when Jackie volunteers to help.
Episode 3
Darlene is in for one shock after another when David brings his girlfriend, Blue, at a parent-teacher conference and informs that Mark and Harris will be enjoying the weekend with them. Dan hires Becky for assistance at work, but they both come to know that she might need more help than she can offer.
Episode 4
It’s Halloween, the favorite time of year for the Conners, but communication from the school banning certain costumes, including Mark’s, snowballs into an argument between Dan and Darlene. Jackie brings in someone new to the family at the Halloween party and asks that Dan vet him, only to wish that she hadn’t.
