Lifetime continues to bring remakes if its cult classics this week with another psychological thriller. The Bad Seed movie on Lifetime follows Emma as she seems to be involved in various crimes at school and elsewhere. Her single dad David can’t believe that his little angel is a vengeful killing machine.

Barbara Marshall adapts the story based on the book by William March. Rob Lowe stars and directs the movie that premiers in September. The 1956 original became a cult classic and the award winning little girl from that movie Patty McCormack.

The Bad Seed Movie Plot
The Bad Seed movie plot revolves around Emma and her single father. A loving dad, David sends his little angel to the best elementary school and gives her all the comforts of life. Emma, devoid of motherly care is however craving for attention. Desperate to win the Citizenship medal at school Emma has done everything possible.
But when a mediocre boy who wins the award is murdered, everyone looks at Emma as a suspect, except her dad David. But events in her life begin to worry David and he goes online and reads about trouble kids. He decides to take her to a psychiatrist, against her wishes. Her good behavior makes him happy for a while, but then he suspects that she is putting up a facade to hide the inherent evil.
When more bizarre events occur, Davis is forced to think if he should protect his child and do everything possible to stop her from committing another crime.
