Jim Carrey has entertained a generation who vouch for his funny antics on the screen. The actor now returns after a gap of nearly two decades in the new scripted comedy. Kidding TV Show on Showtime follows Mr. Pickles who must save his family form discord and also struggles to keep the show everyone loves going.

Kidding TV Show Plot
Kidding TV Show story follows Jeff, aka Mr. Pickles, an icon of children’s television and a beacon of kindness and wisdom to America’s impressionable young minds and the parents who grew up with him. When this beloved personality’s family begins to implode, Jeff finds no fairytale, fable or puppet will guide him through the crisis, which advances faster than his means to cope.
The result: A kind man in a cruel world faces a slow leak of sanity as hilarious as it is heartbreaking.
Throughout the season, Jeff pushes back against the limits of the well-oiled machine that is Mr. Pickles’ Puppet Time and its executive producer Seb. Fearing Jeff’s mental state could ruin the branding empire they’ve built, Seb begins preparing the show for a life after Jeff, while head puppet maker Deirdre grapples with her own personal and professional issues.

Episode 1
Jeff Pickles decides it’s time to talk about death on Mr. Pickles’ Puppet Time. His executive producer, Seb, warns him that Mr. Pickles the persona and Jeff Pickles the person need to remain separate – and that the latter can’t change. Meanwhile, Deirdre punishes her daughter Maddy for not eating her veggies.
Episode 2
Jeff makes a rash decision that could affect the ability of the show to continue. Seb strategizes how to rebuild Jeff’s image. The two disagree about how Jeff can repair his family. Meanwhile, Deirdre tries to learn more about what’s happening while Maddy is at her piano lesson. Jeff’s son Will decides to let loose with his new friends.
Episode 3
Jeff tries to fix his heartbreak. Deirdre deals with her daughter’s developing medical condition. Seb outlines the future of Mr. Pickles’ Puppet Time without Jeff. Jeff tries to get Will off pot by giving him a hobby.
Episode 4
Jeff deals with a one-night stand. Jill learns that Jeff has been sending money to someone behind her back and confronts him.
