Tell Me a Story Series Plot
Set in modern-day New York, Tell Me a Story first season combines three favorite fairy tales into a cohesive story. The dark and twisted psychological thriller interweaves The Three Little Pigs, Little Red Riding Hood, and Hansel and Gretel into a tale of love, greed, loss, murder and revenge.
The series begins with jewelry store robbery where three men in Pig masks loot the store and injure Jordan in the process. Trying to recover from the trauma, Jordan is determined the people behind it and believes only that can fix the things fro him.
We also Kayla, a teenager, who is upset with her father because he has compelled them to move across the country to live at the grandma’s place. Rebellious Kayla soon walks into the arms of mysterious young man, Nick, she meets at a club. As it turns out, Nick is also her substitute teacher.
The third tread in the narrative is that of brother and sister who are trying to cover up the accidental death of a rich businessman. Hannah, a soldier turned therapist suffering with PTSD is trying to help her brother fix his life. But things often get out of hand for them as they try to mend fences.
