Take Two TV Show Plot
Take Two TV show follows a failed actor as she decides to improve her prospects in the acting world with a bit of practical experience. Sam Swift (Rachel Bilson), the former star of a hit cop series whose epic breakdown is broadcast to the public and sends her to rehab.
Desperate to restart her career, she talks her way into shadowing lone-wolf private investigator Eddie Valetik (Eddie Cibrian) as research for a potential comeback role. Though Eddie resents the babysitting gig, high-spirited Sam uses the skills she learned as an actor playing a cop and proves herself to be surprisingly valuable.
Take Two TV Show Review
Take Two is definitely in line with the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries kind of material, but with a bit more action and guns. Not as gory as Dexter or the likes, the series banks on the chemistry between its two lead characters that will make you smile and promises to build with few episodes. Take Two TV series is a typical procedural with one rookie and one experienced, warring partner. So if you like somewhat easygoing cases that are solved in a fun way with amateur sleuths, you will love Take Two.

Episode 2
While working surveillance on a routine cheating spouse case, Sam and Eddie hear gunshots and race in to catch a Hollywood producer standing over the body of his mistress, clutching a smoking gun. It’s case-closed as far as Eddie or any cop is concerned.
But when the producer insists he’s innocent, Sam agrees to take on his case, much to Eddie’s chagrin. When their initial inquiries uncover that the producer’s mistress isn’t who she claimed to be, the pair are thrust into an investigation where not everything is as it seems.
Episode 3
When a popular nightclub owner and one of Eddie’s old nemeses hires Eddie and Sam to track down his club’s missing DJ, Eddie balks. Meanwhile, Sam remembers her party days at the club and clashes with Eddie over the case. As they dig deeper, Sam and Eddie learn that the missing young man was kidnapped and soon realize his abduction may be part of a plan to ignite a mob war that only they can stop.
