Sweet Carolina follows Josie as she must stand up to a new responsibility put on her after a sudden tragedy in the family.
Josie has left her hometown years ago for a lucrative career in the city. Busy and engrossed in her work, Josie had limited contact with her family and hometown for yeaars.
But when her sister suddenly dies, Josie is overwhelmed by grief and returns to her hometown, unaware of the challenges awaiting her. She soon finds out that her sister has named her as the guardian of her young children. Unsure of what to do next, Josie decides to spend some time there before she can make a decision.
As she contemplates about moving back against uprooting the kids from their home she once again connects with her school boyfriend Cooper.
Can Josie and Cooper rekindle the old flame? or will Josie have no other choice than to uproot the kids from their family home and make them move with her?
