Netflix promises to bring the biggest Superhero spectacle of all time with Jupiter’s Legacy series in 2021. The story of this new series spans more than 100 years with dozens of superhero characters and begins before the earliest superheroes that we know. Apart from the good vs evil theme, the series also brings complex family dynamics and differences within the union of superheroes.

Jupiter’s Legacy follows a group of superheroes and their kids who struggle to live up to their parents’ legendary reputation and exacting standards.
Sheldon Sampson AKA The Utopian is the world’s greatest Hero and leads The Union of Justice. The Union is the organization formed by the world’s six original and most powerful superheroes after they gained their powers
in the 1930s. Sheldon insists that superheroes in The Union abide by a system of checks and balances called The Code: Heroes only use their powers in the service of others, they don’t govern, and they never kill.
Grace Sampson AKA Lady Liberty, another Founder member, is Sheldon’s wife, a founding member of The Union, and one of the most powerful superheroes on the planet. She doesn’t always agree with Sheldon, but strives to balance his ideals with the reality of the modern, and often violent, world they live in.
Walter Sampson AKA Brain Wave is Sheldon’s older brother and a founding member of The Union. Walt is a man of vast intellect and cunning who’s frustrated by his brother’s demand that they serve the human race when he feels
he could lead them into something better.
The Union is challenged by their former ally and member,
George Hutchence AKA SkyFox. After years of fighting crime, George realized that the real cause of society’s issues was the core system and ingrained structures The Union fought to uphold and protect. Now considered the greatest
supervillain in the world, George hasn’t been seen for years — his whereabouts and loyalties remain a mystery.
The kids of these legendary superheroes discover their immense super powers, their parent want them to continue to save what they stand for. But they often have conflicting views and take opposing stands. Can the two find the harmony and common ground to save the world from a violent future?
