IFC brings you an exciting Dark Comedy, SisterS, that follows Sare from Canada to the offbeat path in Ireland in hunt for truth.
The Drama series follows Sare as she finds out that the man she called father all her life is not really her father. When her mother dies and tells her this, sit upsets and confuses her. As she digs deep she finds out that her real father was some backpacker her mother met in Ireland decades ago.
She packs her bags and decides to go looking for her father in Ireland and soon discovers that she also happens to have a sister.
Meanwhile, her sister Suze is grappling with her own problems. she has lost everything dear to her – her job, partner, flat . . . When Sare turns up on her doorstep, her life takes another summersault. It turns out that she too has never met their real father and the the two embark on a road trip to search for him across Ireland.
As the two travel, the form an unbreakable bond and discover many truths about family.
Sarah Goldberg of Barry plays Sare with Susan Stanley as Suze. Harki Bhambra, Liam Carney, and Frank Laverty also star. Sarah Goldberg and Susan Stanley created the series.
SisterS Release Date
SisterS premieres on on May 17 at 11 PM ET. and comes with six episodes in the first season. You can stream the entire first season on Sundance Now and AMC+ on the same day.
