The ensuing racial tensions explode into a bigger turmoil and further complicates the matter.
In the middle of all this is K J Harper, a black assistant prosecutor who is assigned to the case. Grappling with her own problems, Harper is weighed down by the sensitive case and its significance for Brenton and the black community.

Seven Seconds Review
For crime lovers, this is not a hardcore investigative drama. The procedural is much closer to law & Order than CSI, but focuses mainly on the impact of crime on the family of the victim. However, in this case, the crime also impacts a bigger community and the series becomes much more than a criminal investigation. Performances by the cast and the sub plots make Seven Seconds an addictive drama that surely is the one to binge watch.
