Last year’s super success of Sairaat was phenomenal. Ranjan marathi movie seems to recreate that magic when it casts Yash Kulkarni and Gauri Kulkarni in another rural romance. The movie is scheduled to release sometime in early 2017. The songs of the movie Ranjan pronounced Raanjan, which means a big earthen pot used to plant or store water, were released today. Ranjan Music Review
The movie team released the preview of the first song of the album Lagira Zala earlier and it immediately raced up the tracks. The full song will not disappoint you as Ajay Gogavale sings the melodious rural melody with right emotions and stress on words by Vaibhav Joshi. The various violin interludes add to the melody and you will be humming the tune for a lot of time.
Lakh Lakh is a fast track on King Shivaji and captures the frenzy in the small village. Lay Valvaltay is a similar track and uses common Maraharashtra folk rhythms in the composition. Dipali Datar sings the sad one-line version of Lagira Zala. Maate Maate is an ode to a Goddess and you can see it played in the movie during a festival. The song uses traditional Indian instruments to create a good tune that has the potential to make it to the playlist during the festival season.
