Coffee with D Review
The trailer for the movie looks promising. From Sunil Grover’s imitation of Indian jurnos’ shouting match on the TV to the near perfect look of last known Dawood by Zakir Hussain, you are sure to get enough laughs. Dialogues by Aabhar Dadich too do not disappoint. The true test is to check if these are the only funny lines in the movie or does it keep the momentum going for the entire movie time. Yes and No.
Zakir Hussains’ Dawood and his assistant are by far the stars of the movie. Sunil Grover’s portrayal of the journalist is pretty much limited to what you see in the trailer. The movie is funny enough and you won’t mind enjoying this on your TV. However, to draw crowds to the theaters the movie lacks a strong plot and the whole thing is just about the interview. If you like to watch satire, the movie is a decent choice this week fro lack of any new releases. However, it is best if you watch this with your friends in a group.
