Pizza is perhaps the most popular snack or meal among kids and grownups alike. Who can resist a slice of stringy mozzarella loaded with favorite toppings and the smell of fresh baked bread. The only problem of making this loved food at home is getting the pizza dough right. The pizza dough has to be stringy and elastic. You can make a thin crust or a normal crust with a homemade pizza dough – a different combination for everyone.
There is something magical about the smell of baking bread and bubbling cheese intermingled with the toppings while making a fresh pizza from scratch. The store bought pizza base cannot give you the same taste and satisfaction that you can get out of a home baked pizza.
The trickiest part of making pizza at home is getting the pizza dough right. And this mainly depends on activating the yeast.
Pizza Dough Ingredients
2 Cups All Purpose Flour
2 tsp Dry Yeast Granules
1 tsp Sugar
1.5 tsp Salt
1 Cup water, more as needed

How to make Pizza Dough
1. Mix in the flour and salt in a flat dish with edges or a bowl
2. Activate the yeast in the water and add it to the flour. The dough should be loose and sticky.
3. Knead the dough for a few minutes and let it rest for a couple of hours or until it doubles
4. Punch the dough a couple of times and it is now ready to go
