Oink is one of the most awaited movies this September. A court drama with a social message. Pink is expected to be a hard hitting drama that questions country’s established dogmas. Amitabh Bachchan and Tapsee Pannu play the central character in the movie. The angry young man still looks menacing and we hope this court drama will be much better than Rustom. Pink Movie Music Review
The album opens with a Rock track sung and composed by Faiza Mujahid. The song captures the wild and free spirit of the young quite well but the singing lacks the depth required to support the high pitched vocals. Kaari Kaari on the other hand is sung beautifully by Qurat Ul Ain Balouch who sings the song in the right questioning tone and you can experience the pain in the singers voice. The contemplative lyrics of the song are complemented by the slow paced music that uses only a few instruments and puts vocals in focus.
The title track is upbeat and has a good rhythm going for it. But when it comes to Hindi Rap we haven’t nailed it yet. The Rap interludes are OK to listen to once or twice, but you don’t want that in the song you listen to multiple times.
