The One You Love book has lived on my Kindle for a long time now, and it is free on Amazon most of the time through the efforts of its enterprising author. With over two thousand reviews, it certainly set some high expectations. And I am glad to say the book overcame them.

The One You Love Book Plot

The One You Love book follows Emma Holden, as she is trying to enjoy her bachelorette party but is distracted while trying to reach her boyfriend. A frantic call from her brother proves her instincts are right. She rushes back to her apartment to find her brother in law to be almost dead and boyfriend to be MIA. Thus begins a tale of horror and deceit that will leave the reader on edge and will cause equal amounts of awe and disgust across the pages.

Emma’s brother Dan is hiding some secret and about to lose it over the guilt. Her father is busy keeping up with his much younger wife. Emma turns down the opportunity of her life as she tries to track down the missing boyfriend. Although he is the number one suspect, Emma still believes he is innocent and fears for his safety. Another puzzling thing is that all of Emma’s photos are stolen from her apartment. She tries to back track thinking of who might wish to harm her and opens a can of worms.

The One You Love Book Reivew

The One You Love book has its share of thrills and suspense with something new coming up at every turn. The reader begins to believe the solution is near when a whole new clue surfaces. The author has certainly managed to hold the reader’s interest. Some scenes are nauseating and almost reminded me of Silence of the Lambs or Along Came a Spider. As you read on, you suspect almost every person in Emma’s life. The police investigation is in the background and the police don’t have much of a role. Emma’s the star all the way.

The One You Love is certainly worth your money and time, and even though this is a free download there are other books in the series. Overall, a thriller that is worth a read!
