The movie is comedy-crime flick about a young reporter who continually finds herself in hopeless situations. Noor Movie Music Review
Composed by Amal Mallik, the songs are catchy and we have a good remix in Gulabi 2.0 after a long time. Laila Mein Laila from Raees was one of the better ones this year. The background loop in the Gulabi remix is catchy and had me thinking for some time. I was finally able to find out why it sounded so familiar and was bugging me for a long time. Looks like the loop was inspired by the 90s hit Wannabe by Spice Girls (So tell me what you want). The remix Gulabi is surely one of the best songs from the album and will have you tapping on the dance floor.
The opening and Title track Uff Yeh Noor too has a catchy rhythm to the song and exudes a young and bumbling feel to the track that fits right into Sonakshi’s character in the movie. The only melancholic track Hai Zaroori is as good as the peppy track and makes the album one of the good ones this year so far.
