No Sudden Move follows small time criminals who are misled on a job by their employer and end up in the middle of a bigger conspiracy.
The movie is set in 1950s Detroit where the atmosphere in the city is tense and racially charged. In such a scenario, a group of small-time criminals is hired to execute a simple job. Delighted to get an opportunity make a quick buck, the group begins planning for the theft. The target is a simple document.
But their plan goes horribly wrong and opens a pandora’s box. They soon realize the job was not as simple as their employer made out to be and involves a bigger conspiracy. Left in the thick of things, the group begins to trace the person who hired him and dig further to find out what the real intention was.
