Keeping Up With the Joneses follows the family matriarch and her four step daughters as they fight off multiple threats to their business and life.
The first movie begins with introduction to the Jones family. A wealthy and powerful family who have influenced many lives in the seaside town of Pacific Hills. When the head of the family dies, his second wife, Robin, assumes controls of the wealth and family business.
However, her four step daughters are now coming of age and beginning to show interest in the family business. Pam is cold and calculating CEO and a hard taskmaster. Carrie is diametrically opposite and aptly runs the family’s Charity arm. Then there is Kayal who is more content with partying than thinking about where all the money comes from. And the most Machiavellian of all – Tara, who is still in high school.
As they struggle to slide into the new responsibilities and realities of life, there is threat looming on the horizon. Someone is trying to beat them at their own game and coming for all that business and power. The new enemy will use threat, blackmail and even murder to destroy this family and wipe off their name.
But these women are much more tougher than they seem. Adversity is not new to them. With their back to the wall, they will use every tool in the kitty and stop at nothing to protect what’s theirs and to hold on to power.
