It is difficult to believe a person when there’s incriminating evidence against a person that you know, but do not know well enough. However, in Murder on the Menu movie on Hallmark, Billies trusts Maxx enough to vouch that he is not a killer. Can she prove it?

Murder on the Menu Movie Plot
Murder on the Menu movie, the latest in the Morning Show Mysteries franchise begins with TV Host Billie hosting celebrity chef Primo Maxx. Maxx is on the show to share his signature dessert ‘Wake Up West Coast’. However, the exciting segment comes to a dramatic end when Maxx’s rental car boot accidentally opens up revealing a woman’s dead body.
With Ian on the scene, Billie finds out that Maxx is being framed for the murder. However, a new twist in the investigation surfaces when another detective comes forward with information that Maxx was investigated in murder of another woman years earlier and this new woman seems related to that one.
Billies still believes Maxx is innocent. However, her belief takes a beating when she is attacked and suspects is being followed. This casts a huge doubt whether Maxx is truly innocent or will she be his third victim.
