Mouna Ragam which means silent symphony is a new Tamil serial based on a child prodigy and her quest to search for her father. A remake of Telugu serial Kokilamma, Mouna Ragam serial will air on Star Vijay from 24th April 2017. Baby Krithika and Chippy Ranjith will be seen playing the lead roles in this new Tamil serial.

Directed by Thai Selvan the serial will have a number of songs and comes across as change from a series of supernatural serials like Neeli released in the recent past. The music for the serial in composed by Mjayachandran.

Mouna Ragam Serial Story
Baby Krithika plays the role of Shakthi in this new musical soap opera. Mouna Ragam story is about her, Shakthi. A singing child prodigy, she has a unique talent of finding music in every noise. She can feel the the rhythm in the clank of a machine or the chirping of the birds.
Shakthi lives with her mother and her aunt and uncle. Life is comfortable and good but she misses her father who is also a singer. When her mother dies, Shakthi decides to get away from her aunt and go looking for her father, who left them when she was born.
One of the reasons for him living was that he didn’t think that his daughter, being a girl, can achieve the same level of success as a boy could, and hence could not make his dreams come true.
Will she be able to get her father’s attention with her singing talent. Will they ever meet? Watch Mouna Ragam serial to find out if Shakthi can achieve what she has set out to do.
