The new family comedy show on NBC has received almost below average ratings with critics worrying about that the sitcom singularly concentrated on Marlon’s characters and gives very little opportunity to the rest of the cast to join in on the fun. Moreover, the humor seems mostly dependent on his antics and is rather bereft of any intelligent or satirical content, as compared to the The Carmichael Show. The writer also seems to be at a loss of writing something new as you find the jokes or Marlon’s antics repeating even before the end of the first episode.
