Magnum P. I. TV Show follows Thomas Magnum, a decorated former Navy SEAL who, upon returning home from Afghanistan, re-purposes his military skills to become a private investigator in Hawaii. A charming rogue, an American hero and a die-hard Detroit Tigers fan, Magnum lives in a guest cottage on Robin’s Nest, the luxurious estate where he works as a security consultant to supplement his P.I. business.
The property is lead by Juliet Higgins, a beautiful and commanding disavowed MI:6 agent whose second job is to keep Magnum in line. Helping Magnum in the time of need are his trusted buddies and fellow POW survivors, Theodore “TC” Calvin, a former Marine chopper pilot who runs Island Hoppers, a helicopter tour business, and Orville “Rick” Wright, a former Marine door-gunner-turned-impresario of Oahu’s coolest nightclub and the most connected man on the island.
With keys to a vintage Ferrari in one hand, aviator sunglasses in the other, and an Old Düsseldorf longneck chilling in the fridge, Thomas Magnum is back on the case!

Magnum P. I. TV Show Review
Fall 2018 TV show premieres week is getting hotter each day. With multiple action series releases, it is difficult to choose the best one in the early weeks. If Manifest upped the mystery quotient, Magnum P.I. just made it to the top if you are looking for pure entertainment. Action, drama, comedy and a bit of budding romance, the series has sets the ball rolling on all of these in the premiere and lives up to its predecessor in may ways.
The Hawaii setting is a treat and performances by the lead cast do not leave anything wanting. While it might be abit difficult to live up to Tom Selleck’s charms, Jay Hernandez is not bad.
If you are looking for a series full of action and fun, without a lot of tension, Magnum P.I. is the right show for you.

A man dying of lymphoma hires Magnum to find his estranged, bone-marrow-compatible brother who turns out to need Magnum’s help as well. Also, Magnum’s case brings back haunted memories for the guys of a past SEAL team mission that went sideways.
Episode 8
After a 16-year-old kidnap victim, Amanda, escapes her captors, her parents hire Magnum, who experienced similar trauma as a POW, to find who took her.
