The reigning queen of Indian Television soaps, launched Kumkum Bhagya in 2014 and it has remained one of the most popular shows for the last three years. Kumkum Bhagya story on Zee TV revolves around Sarla Arora and her daughters Pragya and Bulbul. The soap is an adaptation of Jane Austin’s novel Sense and Sensibility.

– Pragya loves Suresh, but Suresh likes Bulbul
– Pragya Suresh Engagement Cancelled
– Abhi and Purab are good friends
– Purab is engaged to Alia
– Abhi is Aliya’s Sister
– Purab and bulbul fall in love
– Aliya thinks Purab loves Pragya
– Abhi marries Pragya as revenge for his sister. Pragya keeps Purab and bulbul’s affair a sectret
– Purab runs away with Aliya and bulbul on the wedding day
– Bulbul reveals the truth to Aliya
– Aliya and Tanu (her friend) try to poisn Abhi and Pragya’s life, but fail
– Aliya plans to kidnap Bulbul, but picks Pragya by mistake and this brings Abhi and Pragya closer

– Pragya finds out about the child’s father and plans to expose Tanu
– However, the Dr. engaged is forced to lie as Tanu kidnaps her daughter, Pari
– Pragya tries to save Pari, but is captured by Nikhil’s henchman
– Tanu loses her child in an accident and ragya and Abhi eventually patch-up
– They agree to get together but Abhi loses his memory in an accident, meant to harm Pragya
– Pragya decides to leave Abhi to protect him, but does not divorce him
– Pragya decides to help her mother in finacial matters and takes up a new job
– She stumbles into Abhi there and he hires her
– Aliya returns to keep Abhi and Pragya away from each other and pushes Tanu to win over Abhi
– Pragya vows to bring Abhi’s memory back and is supported by Dadi
– Abhi and Pragya begin to come closer. To aid this, Purab confesses he like Pragya to make Abhi jealous.
