Kirik Party is a refreshing tale about a bunch of college students in their first year of Engineering. If the Gujrati remake Days of Tafree was about the last year of college and stepping into the real world, Kirik Party begins at the beginning However, the theme and the mood of the movie remains quite similar. Kirik Party seems like another college movie with a bit of mischief and some drama as kids live through some sobering experiences. The movie is scheduled to release on 30th December 2017 and we hope the last minute lawsuit will not hurt its release date.

Kirik Party Story
Karna (Rakshit Shetty) has walked into his college as a student of Mechanical Engineering. He soon forms a bond with his hostel mates and they immediately decide to take on the seniors, refusing to bow down to them . The mischievous trio gains notoriety in their first year as their pranks affect one and all.
From painting graffiti, hitting on girls from other classes to fraudulent schemes the bunch does it all in what will remind you of your college days ideas and various adventures. But wait there is a lesson to be learnt here somewhere.
The movie takes a Hangover like turn when under the influence of booze, they stash their principal in the boot of their car and drive away into the night. Will this be the incident that will make these young adults rethink where their life is going?

Kirik Party Review
The movie delivers on the promise of the trailer. With no other major releases this week, the movie has managed to draw crowds to the theaters on the first day. As expected the movie is ore or less about the college days experience. Rakshit Shetty gives a good performance as he moves through the years in college. Performances by leading ladies Samyuktha and Rashmika too are commendable.
The movie may seem to drag a bit in pockets, but will surely leave you with an overall satisfied experience. ANy movie that finds you smiling as you get out of the cinemas is good enough, in my book. The soundtrack by Loknath helps too here and keeps the movie moving.
