The Kids Are Alright TV Show Plot
The Kids are Alright TV Show follows the Cleary family. The series is set in the 1970s Los Angeles and follows a traditional Irish-Catholic family, as they find a way through big and small changes at a time when America itself is going through a turbulent time.
In a working-class neighborhood just outside LA, Mike and Peggy are raising eight high-spirited boys who live out their days with almost no supervision. The Cleary tribe is turned upside down when their oldest son Lawrence comes back home and declares he’s leaving the seminary to go on a mission to “save the world.”
Circumstances are changing and this household will never be the same. With 10 people, three bedrooms, one bathroom, everyone is in it for themselves and chaos reigns supreme.

The Kids Are Alright has premiered to mostly positive reviews and the audiences are loving the family and the performances. The series captures the 70s flavor well and is nostalgic to many of the sitcom audiences. The series is sweet, funny, and the genera opinion is that it is more than alright.

Episode 1
Lawrence, returns home from the seminary and announces that he’s dropping out of Seminary, leaving Mike and Peggy upset and wondering why. Timmy decides he wants to try out for a children’s theatre but when Peggy finds out where, she stops him from participating. Eddie strives to keep his girlfriend a secret after Frank tries to blackmail him.
Episode 2
Timmy decides to participate in a poetry contest for the money he wants to fix his ventriloquist dummy. Out of ideas, he plagiarizes a poem and soon realizes he’s not the only one to do it. Meanwhile, Mike and Lawrence butt heads when Lawrence cribs that there are no fresh vegetables in their diet.
