Khaidi No 150 will see Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi back in action after nearly a decade. Telugu movie fans are in for a treat in January with Khaidi No 150, which is a remake of hit Tamil movie Kaththi. Along with Chiranjeevi, the lead roles in the movies will see stars like Shriya Saran and Kajal Aggarwal. The movie was mainly shot in Hyderabad with some sequences in Chanchalguda Central Jail. Khaidi No 150 is scheduled to release on 11th January 2017.

The story is written by AR Murugadoss and has his trademark multiple stories converging to a grand climax in the end. Khaidi No 150 story brings the focus on plight of farmers and corporate greed that drives framers’ suicide. Khaidi No 150 Story
Khaidi No 150 or prisoner 150, as the name suggests is the number assigned to Chiranjeevi in the Hyderabad Central Jail. Cheeranjivi helps the police in catching criminal, but escapes in the process. On his way out of the country, he falls for Kajal Aggarwal and accompanies her to her village. Here he comes across his look-alike and decides to switch places with him. While the police capture the the good Cheeranjeevi, our protagonist decides do away with his money by impersonating the good guy.
However, he soon gets entangled in a legal battle for farmers’ land and decides to help them out of their misery. Instead of running away from the country, the hero finds himself helping the farmers fight corporate giants and get their rightful dues.

Chiranjeevi selected a safe bet when he opted for the remake of hit Tamil movie. The remake does not offer a lot different than the original other than the swagger of the megastar himself. In a way it is perfect commercial movie with catchy songs, social and emotional appeal, and some good action sequences.
The movie hold audiences together for most of the time. However, audiences seem to have disliked the way the director has handled the end of the movie. It somehow fails to keep the interest going and as a result does not finish with a rush. What is ‘Khaidi No 150 movie review’?
