Khaidi No 150 Music Review

Khiladi No. 150 songs maintain the pace through the album and you will not see many variations in pace here, with the exception of Neeru Neeru. You can classify the entire album as a dance album with fast tracks and heavy beats. Devi Sri Prasad uses western instruments with traditional instruments to create peppy tracks that will have you tap your feet. However, the songs do not really grab your attention.

Ammadu Let’s Do Kummudu is catchy but doesn’t offer anything new. Sundari however brings a fresh feel. Leaning toward Hip-Hop compositions, the song sidesteps injecting Rap but uses Hip-Hop rhythms well with a bit of Sitar and even some Punjabi beats. Hariharan’s voice brings a bit of dreamy feel to the You & Me Intro, but the songs ultimately succumbs to the pace of the album. Ratthaalu is more of the rest of the album and doesn’t break away from the flavor of the soundtrack. The song gives you some foot tapping beats that you won’t mind playing to get people up and dancing, but could have done without the interludes that break the catchy rhythms.

The album ends with a symphony style composition Neeru Neeru, which marks the sole romantic, slow-paced song of the album.

MovieRecipe Verdict: An average album with a couple of good songs

MovieRecipe Pick: Sundari
