Jolt movie follows Lindy a young woman whose rare neurological condition and loss of love pushes her back into the abyss of revenge and death.
Lindy is a young woman with wit and sarcasm that can only come with cynical attitude. But she is lonely and has never had a true connection with anyone. Of course, her rare neurological condition is one of the reasons for that.
Lindy has a tendency to plunge into a murderous rage and uncontrollable impulses to kill. A rage that can be controlled when she shocks herself with a special electrode device. This unpredictable behavior has kept her away from people who are wary of her and do not want her anywhere near them.
But Lindy finally meets a man she can connect with. In spite of her usual cynicism and reluctance, she stays in the relationship long enough to fall in love. But as fate would have it, the man is found murdered the next day.
The sudden shock plunges her in a explosive rage and she goes on a mission to find the real killer, with the police on her tail who believe she might be the one who murdered the man.
