Innocent TV Show Plot
Innocent TV Series follows David Collins who is grappling with the death of his wife and is convicted for her murder. He has served seven years in prison and lost everything – his kids, home, and friends because of the verdict he maintains was incorrect.
Fighting on his side is his brother Phil who believes in his innocence and has sacrificed hi sown career in trying to get David released from the prison. Tara’s sister and her husband now have the custody of his children and estate and lead a comfortable life. A life that eluded them when Tara was alive.
When David walks out of prison on a technical fault in the case, a long road to recovery awaits him. Although acquitted, will people around him trust him ever again and will he get the custody of his kids? With relationships permanently fractured and David emotionally at rock bottom he finds himself in a very dark place.
Will Jr DI Alice accept the court’s decision and can she and David be reconciled? And what of David’s best friend Tom Wilson who reneged on his alibi on the night of Tara’s murder? Is tenacious Cathy Hudson’s review of the case an investigation David should fear?
