Impulse Series Cast
Jeffrey Lieber, Jason Horwitch, and Gary Spinelli adapt Steven Gould’s novel of the same name – the third in the Jumper series of books. Doug Liman (Bourne Identity) directs the new series with Maddie Hasson in the lead role. The first season premieres with ten episodes starting June 6.

Impulse Series Plot
Impulse series plot revolves around a young, teenage girl Henrietta or Henry as she travels to a new place with her mother and is trying hard to adjust to her new school. The series begins on this familiar note of teenager problems and trials at a new school. However, a traumatic confrontation with the school jock triggers something deep inside Henry and she simply vanishes from the spot, only to reappear at a different location.
Her extraordinary ability gets her a top spot in the school popularity hierarchy, but makes keeping the secret that much more difficult for her.
Henry has always felt different from her peers and has longed to escape from her seemingly quaint small town. This newfound power confirms her conviction that she really was different from everybody else, but it now makes her the focus of those who want to control her.
Impulse Series Review
Yutube’s new YA action series makes an important statement and sends a strong message about sexual assault to the audience, packaged in an engaging Sci-Fi action series. Impulse doesn’t waste any time in world building and the character introductions seem to go with the flow of the story.
It catches your attention from the go and compels you binge on the available episode without wasting a minute. The performances too seem real. With multiple threads to pursue, one bout Dominic who is trying to save his family from those who wish to control his gift, and of Henry who is still trying to come to terms with hers, Impulse gives us perhaps one of the best Action series of the year so far.
