Happy Bhag Jayegi promises to be fun. A runaway bride is not a new concept but is still funny. The last movie that explored the topic of marriage and aversion to married life and commitment – Shudh Desi Romance – was quite good. With Abhay Deol, I have a lot of hopes from the movie. Tell me what you think of this Happy Bhag Jayegi music review, and which one is your favorite.
Happy Bhag Jayegi Music Review
Sohail Sen composes the music for
Happy Bhag Jayegi. Set in the Punjab region of both India and Pakistan, the music sounds perfect for the movie. Mudassar Aziz pens the words for the soundtrack and does a decent job. He communicates the mood of the movie very well, and gives a poetic touch to
Ashiq Tera lyrics.

Happy Bhag Jayeg Soundtrack
- Happy Oye - Harshdeep Kaur, Shahid Mallya
- Gabru Ready To Mingle Hai - Mika Singh, Tarranum Malik, Neeti Mohan, Danish Sabri
- Aashiq Tera - Altamash Faridi
- Zara Si Dosti - Arijit Singh
- Yaaram - Javed Ali
Rap once again makes an appearance in
Gabru Ready to Mingle Hai with an interlude in otherwise classic Punjabi music rhythm.
Aashiq Tera uses traditional instruments and is catchy and melodious at the same time. Happy Oye and Gabru Ready To Mingle Hai are not the kind of songs you will listen other than in the movie. Arijit's
Zara Si Dosti sounds like many of his other tracks, but this one lacks melody and I don't see it making to the popular charts. He sings this in his usual style and Arijit fans may like it for that.
Yaaram invites you into the song with melodious flute sounds and develops a lot in a Sufi style music. Once again, there is nothing wrong with the composition here, but with some recent good compositions from Ishq Click, Fever, and Rustom, in the competition, this one pales. Checkout
music reviews of these great albums and you decide.
MovieRecipe Verdict: Run-of-the mill compositions that won't drive you away but don't inspire to hit Repeat.

Aashiq Tera Lyrics
O meherbaan ve, karaan main tera sukriya ve,
O sonhivaa ve, mareez-e-ishq ho gaya ve,
Mainu lagdi na koi dava ve, mera rab hi hai mera gavaah ve,
Hun tu kar mera faisla ve,
Jo naal tere na jiya Toh jeeke ki karaan; Tera tera tera tera, tera tera tera tera, tera tera tera hua haan,
Aashiq tera tera tera tera, tera tera tera tera, tera tera tera hua haan; O meherbaan ve, karaan main tera sukriya ve,
O sanhiba ve, mareez-e-ishq ho gaya ve,
Mainu lagdi na koi dava ve, mera rab hi hai mera gavaah ve,
Hun tu kar mera faisla ve,
Jo naal tere na jiya Toh jeeke ki karaan; Tera tera tera tera, tera tera tera tera, tera tera tera hua haan,
Aashiq tera tera tera tera, tera tera tera tera, tera tera tera hua haan; Hosh baaton ka aksar nahi tha, dil humara shayar nahi tha,
Tune likh di ye taqdeer warna, ishq wala muqaddar nahi tha, Teri nazron ke kaaran, Chhute hain deen-o-dharam,
Kiye ja tu kiye ja, Abhi kuch aur sitam, Nahi sambhla dil mere sambhale, Ise kar daala tere hawale
Tu mita de ya chahe bacha le,
Jaa ishq pe mere chala le apni marziyan Tera tera tera tera, tera tera tera tera, tera tera tera hua haan,
Aashiq tera tera tera tera, tera tera tera tera, tera tera tera hua haan; Dil ke aage ye aafat badi hai, Khwahishein phir bhi zidd pe adi hai
Hum se maayoos hoga zamaana, par zamaane ki kisko padi hai; Tu chala jaayega ghar, Saath hai ye ghadi bhar
Manzilein meri nahi, Hai mera bas ye safar
Sarhadon ko na hoga ye gawara, Ki mile dil se dil koi awaara,
Main parinda hoon, tu hai sitaara,
Main apna aasmaan chunu tu apna aasmaan; Tera tera tera tera, tera tera tera tera, tera tera tera hua haan,
Aashiq tera tera tera tera, tera tera tera tera, tera tera tera hua haan;
