Part of the ‘Nightmare’ series, the new movie is once again written by Shelly Gillen and directed by Vic Sarin. Jessica Lowndes returns to the franchise and reprises her role from the first movie, A Mother’s Nightmare. The new movie premieres on Lifetime on July 22.

A Father’s Nightmare Movie Plot
A Father’s Nightmare movie follows Matt and Lisa as they try to comet to terms with the loss of Matt’s wife. Unable to give his full attention to Lisa, Matt sends her off to college, hoping the wounds will heal in the new environment and busy life. However, there is a threat looming on the family that Matt is unaware of.
At the college Lisa meets her new roommate, Vanessa who is much older and mature than her. Vanessa soon manages to charm Lisa and begins to influence every aspect of his life. She is determined to take Lisa away from Matt and destroy her life and the family.
What Lisa doesn’t know is that Vanessa’s hate is directed toward her father Matt. Recently discharged from the state hospital’s psych ward, Vanessa is restricted from getting close to Matt. But has not such restriction when it comes to being close to Lisa.
Will Matt find out who Lisa’s roommate really is in time? Can he save his daughter and expose Vanessa’s real intentions?
