Chinese noodles are a hot favorite. They are easy to make and yummy. A perfect snack when you want to eat something tangy and tasty. But hey, same old plain Hakka noodles can get boring. You need t have a twist every now and then, my answer? Egg Chilli Garlic Noodles.
Kashimiri chilli or paprika both have a very peculiar taste that can bring out the taste of chilli without the heat. And Chilli lovers like me, I am sure, like the chilli garlic noodles much more than the regular ones. I also like to have an egg on my noodles. So one boring evening when I yearning foe something to make my taste buds happy, these Egg Chilli Garlic Noodles seemed like the right way to go.
Ingredients
1 Packet of Hakka Noodles – cooked as per packet instructions
1/2 Cup Cabbage
1/2 cup carrots
1/4 Cup Green Peas
1/4 Cup Onion, slivers
3 Tbsp Garlic Slivers
2 Tbsp Spring Onions
2 Eggs Beaten
3 Tbsp oil
Sat to taste
1/2 Tbsp Sweet paprika or Kashmiri Chilli Powder
How to Make Egg Chilli Garlic Noodles
1. Heat an iron wok until it is very hot
2. Add 1 Tbsp Oil add the beaten eggs
3. Toss around the egg for a minute and remove to a plate
4. Add the remaining oil and then add the garlic
5. Let the garlic burn, and then add the rest of the veggies
6. Fry on high heat for a couple of minutes, and then add the chilli powder
7. Add the salt and and toss for a minute
8. Add the cooked noodles and toss well to coat the noodles and mix with the veggies
9. Add the fried egg and mix well
10. Garnish with the spring onions and serve hot with Soy sauce
Yummy and spicy! This calls for a nice action movie. Jackie Chan can make any movie entertaining on his own. But when you add Chris Tucker to the equation, the movie become all the more interesting and entertaining.
